Monday: The thought of the day was champions make a habit of doing what is boring and uncomfortable. L.A.: warm-up 1. Throughout "Paul Revere's Ride" Longfellow keeps up a pounding beat with four stressed syllables in each line Echoing the sound of hoof beats. 2.Longfellow's galloping rhythm just gives the poem excitement and power. Social studies: Our cell-phone persuasive essay is due on Wednesday. Science: Today the monthly project was due. Math: Pg. 58 questions 10-11.

Tuesday: The thought of the day was All of us are always going try to do better tomorrow, and we would if only we had started today. Math: Pg.56 find out when the # of cakes are equal with the expenses. Science: Work Day, No Home Work. Social Studies: same as yesterday. L.A.: No warm up and no home work.

Wednesday: The thought of the day was always don't make mistakes. The warm up today for L.A. was 1.On the night of April 18,1777 there were actually three riders. 2. Because Paul Revere was stopped by British soldiers and William Barns fell off of his horse Samuel Prescott was the only one who made it to Connecticut. Other than this we had no Homework but we found out that Octobers monthly project was going to have to be about chemistry. Also in math we got a study guide.

Thursday: The thought of the day was if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail. Math: we got Sunshine math 4 and word problem 4. Science: Today we got chemistry notes. L.A.: Today the warm ups were 1.It is unquestionable that "Paul Revere's Ride" was a turning point in American history. 2.What I mean to say is that no Revolutionary figure deserves lasting fame more than he. Today we started our response to lits.

This blog has been specially created to help 8Th graders at S.V.M.S.{Sebasticook Valley Middle School who have been absent so that it might be easier for them to find out what they missed. This will allow students who can get online at home to find out what they missed while they were gone if they were absent for multiple days with out falling very far behind.
